Ieuan Holt

Picture
SLICK | Watercolour and ink | 84 x 59 cm
IEUAN HOLT was born in Shropshire in 1996. In 2018 he received a CoC Unlimited (Navigation) and HND in Nautical Science from Warsash Maritime Academy. Since leaving the Merchant Navy he has gone on to study English and Creative Writing (BA) at the University of Plymouth.
Ieuan's work seeks to explore ideas of expression through negative space and subconscious landscapes. In his most recent work he has begun to incorporate text within his paintings as a way to visually represent the difficulty and the vulnerability that occurs when silent emotions are given a voice.
