He was Sculpture Technician and later Lecturer at Wimbledon School of Art, where he also devised and taught Exploring Sculpture summer schools . He is the author of Bronze casting: a Manual of Techniques 1995. Thomas's work has been exhibited regularly including Royal Academy Summer show, London; Discerning Eye, London; Royal British Society of Sculptors, London; RWA, Bristol; Bath Society of Artists, Bath; Belgrade Gallery, St Ives; Porthminster Gallery, St Ives; as well as curated shows.
